Tiger Woods to Appear in Court for DUI Plea Hearing

Tiger Woods is set to appear in a Florida court on Wednesday for a change-of-plea hearing concerning his DUI arrest and rollover crash that occurred in March.

This hearing follows a previous status hearing on September 8, where Woods had entered a not-guilty plea. The court records indicate that Woods will appear before Judge Darren Steele at 8:30 a.m. ET, as defendants must be present for change-of-plea hearings.

Woods, who is represented by attorney Douglas Duncan, had initially requested a jury trial after his not-guilty plea. Duncan has described the upcoming hearing as a plea conference. Woods was arrested on March 27 and charged with DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test after a crash involving his Range Rover. Reports indicated that Woods exhibited signs of impairment, and police found hydrocodone pills at the scene.
