Tijjani Reijnders to Join Al-Qadsiah in £52m Deal
Tijjani Reijnders, a midfielder for Manchester City, is poised to transfer to Saudi Pro-League team Al-Qadsiah in a deal worth £52m.
The agreement follows Reijnders' one-year tenure at City, during which he was acquired from AC Milan for £46.5m. Despite a promising start, he faced challenges in making a notable impact in what was Pep Guardiola's final season, netting seven goals in 47 matches.
On Thursday, the 28-year-old trained separately from the main squad, indicating his impending move to a club now led by Brendan Rodgers. This transfer is part of a broader midfield reshuffle at City, amid speculation regarding the future of Rodri and interest in Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez. Reijnders also represented the Netherlands at the 2026 World Cup, participating in three matches.
