Titans Announce Inactive Players for Game Against Bengals
The Tennessee Titans have confirmed that rookie wide receiver Carnell Tate will not participate in the game against the Cincinnati Bengals due to a shoulder injury. Tate, who has been a key player for the Titans with 34 receptions for 413 yards and one touchdown, missed all three practice sessions leading up to the game.
In addition to Tate, the Titans have also ruled out punter Tommy Townsend, who is dealing with a left knee issue, and running back Tyjae Spears, who has a knee injury. To fill the punting role, veteran Thomas Morstead, recently signed to the practice squad, will take over.
Cornerback Jaylon Jones has been added to the injury report as questionable after limited participation in practice on Friday. Other players, including defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers, linebacker Dorian Mausi, and wide receiver Calvin Ridley, are also listed as questionable, with varying levels of participation in practice.
