Titans' Coach Confident in Cam Ward's Future Performance

The Tennessee Titans selected quarterback Cam Ward as the first overall pick last year, aiming for him to become the franchise quarterback. Ward's inaugural season was difficult, culminating in the firing of former head coach Brian Callahan after a 1-5 start.

With Robert Saleh now at the helm and Brian Daboll as offensive coordinator, expectations are high for Ward's second season. Saleh has expressed complete confidence in Ward, stating that he believes the quarterback will succeed. Daboll, who previously developed Josh Allen, is also optimistic about Ward's potential, citing his college performance and the experience gained during his rookie year.

Both coaches emphasize the importance of consistency in Ward's play, focusing on making routine plays effectively. Last season, Ward completed 60 percent of his passes, totaling 3,169 yards, with 15 touchdowns and seven interceptions, along with 159 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
