Titans Release Jordan Elliott Following Altercation Incident
The Tennessee Titans have released defensive tackle Jordan Elliott following an incident that occurred during practice on October 15. The team did not provide details regarding the circumstances leading to his release.
Reports indicate that Elliott had an argument with teammate JC Latham, which resulted in him being asked to leave the practice field. He then reportedly went to his car to retrieve a gun. The situation was de-escalated by teammate John Franklin-Myers, although it remains unclear if Elliott actually returned to the field with the weapon. Surveillance cameras captured the incident.
Elliott, who signed a two-year contract worth $8 million in the offseason, had previously played for the Cleveland Browns and the San Francisco 49ers. He was inactive for the Titans' recent game against the Colts before his release.
