Titans Sign Three Players Off Waivers and Veteran Safety Terrell Burgess

The Tennessee Titans have made roster moves early in the week by claiming three players off waivers. The new additions include linebacker Owen Pappoe, defensive back Melvin Smith, and defensive tackle Nazir Stackhouse, all of whom were recently released during roster cuts.

Owen Pappoe previously played for the Cardinals, Melvin Smith was with the Chiefs, and Nazir Stackhouse had been with the Packers. Additionally, the Titans are set to sign veteran safety Terrell Burgess, who was let go by the Saints. Burgess brings experience with 59 career games and five starts, having played 16 games last season for New Orleans.

In a corresponding move, the Titans will waive linebacker Mohamoud Diabate, as reported by Tom Pelissero of Netflix.
