Titans Trade Jeffery Simmons to Bears for Multiple Draft Picks
The Tennessee Titans have finalized a trade sending All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons to the Chicago Bears. The deal includes Chicago receiving Simmons along with a 2028 fifth-round pick, while Tennessee acquires two first-round picks for 2027 and 2028, as well as a fourth-round pick in 2027.
Simmons, who is 29 years old, has been recognized as a four-time Pro Bowler and earned his first AP first-team All-Pro selection last season. In 2025, he achieved a career-high of 11.0 sacks, alongside 17 tackles for loss and 21 quarterback hits. This season, he has recorded 4.0 sacks, six tackles for loss, and nine quarterback hits over seven games.
Prior to the trade, Simmons had agreed to a three-year contract extension worth $105.8 million with the Titans. His move to Chicago aims to bolster a defense that currently ranks eighth in yards allowed and ninth in points allowed.
