Titans Waive Quarterbacks Will Levis and Hendon Hooker
The Tennessee Titans announced the waiving of quarterbacks Will Levis and Hendon Hooker on Sunday as they trimmed their roster to 53 players.
In addition to the quarterbacks, the Titans released several other players, including wide receivers Courtney Jackson, Lance McCutcheon, and KJ Osborn, along with tight end Joel Wilson and multiple offensive and defensive linemen. Linebacker Dorian Mausi and cornerback Joshua Williams were placed on injured reserve with the possibility of returning, while center Andre James and defensive end Tanoh Kpassagnon were also placed on injured reserve without that designation.
With the departure of Levis and Hooker, the Titans currently have Cam Ward and Mitchell Trubisky listed on their depth chart, and they are expected to add a third quarterback to their practice squad.
