Todd McShay Suggests Arch Manning Should Return to College in 2027
NFL Draft analyst Todd McShay has advised quarterback Arch Manning to consider returning to college in 2027, following a challenging season with the Texas Longhorns. Manning's performance has not met the high expectations set before the season, raising concerns about his readiness for the NFL.
McShay included Manning at the top of a list of six quarterbacks who should return to college, suggesting that a transfer might also be an option. He noted that while there is still time for Manning to improve this season, another year in college could be beneficial for his future.
Throughout the season, Manning has faced difficulties, throwing seven touchdowns and two interceptions in the first three weeks, but has since struggled with three touchdowns and three interceptions in his last two games. His draft stock has also declined, dropping from a projected No. 1 pick to No. 24 on Mel Kiper Jr's big board, indicating the need for a strong finish to the season.
