Tom Garfinkel Resigns as Dolphins President and CEO

Tom Garfinkel has stepped down from his position as president and CEO of the Dolphins after 13 years, while remaining involved with the organization in other capacities.

The Miami Dolphins announced a significant leadership change on Tuesday with the resignation of Tom Garfinkel as president and CEO after 13 years in the position.

Despite stepping down, Garfinkel will continue to serve as vice chairman of the team and Hard Rock Stadium, as well as managing partner of the Miami Grand Prix. He expressed gratitude for the support from the South Florida community and Dolphins fans, noting that the organization is in a strong position.

In conjunction with Garfinkel's departure, Dolphins owner Steve Ross introduced Ross Sports & Entertainment, appointing Daniel Sillman as CEO. This new entity will manage the Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium, the Miami Grand Prix, the Miami Open tennis tournament, and the Precision Drive Club, with Sillman overseeing the football operations.
