Beveridge noted that while Liberatore has not sustained a new injury, he was not fit enough to participate in training or the game.

Previously, Liberatore missed significant playing time due to cartilage damage in his knee and has faced head injuries this season, limiting him to 11 games. The Bulldogs have made adjustments to their lineup, with captain Marcus Bontempelli returning, while Liberatore's absence poses a challenge for the team.
