Tommy Freeman, the England winger, has secured a contract extension with Northampton Saints, the reigning Premiership champions, ensuring his presence at Franklin's Gardens for the foreseeable future.

The 25-year-old debuted with the Saints in 2019 and has since made 118 appearances, scoring 79 tries. He played a key role in the club's Premiership final victories in 2024 and 2026, scoring the opening try in both matches.

Freeman's decision to remain with the Saints follows similar commitments from teammates Fin Smith, Fraser Dingwall, and Alex Mitchell. Saints' director of rugby, Phil Dowson, expressed that Freeman's early commitment is a significant boost for the club. Although the length of the new contract has not been disclosed, Freeman had one season left on his previous deal.
