Toni Breidinger Excluded from New Hampshire NASCAR Truck Race After Driver Swap
Toni Breidinger will not participate in the NASCAR Truck race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway due to a strategic decision by her team, Rackley W.A.R. The team attempted to secure both of their entries in the race, but the plan did not succeed.
In a bid to help Breidinger qualify, Dawson Sutton, who usually drives the No. 26 Chevrolet, switched to the No. 27 Chevrolet. However, Sutton encountered brake issues during practice and was unable to qualify. Breidinger managed to qualify as the 34th-fastest of 41 entries, relying on owner points, but the team opted to prioritize Sutton, leading to her exclusion from the race.
This decision comes as the regular season concludes, with Sutton currently positioned 18th in the championship standings, making it unlikely for him to qualify for the Chase. Other drivers, including Mason Massey and Derek White, also failed to qualify for the event.
