Tony Bloom Expresses Confidence in Hearts' Title Ambitions
Tony Bloom, the chairman of Brighton, has expressed his belief that Hearts should win the Scottish Premiership by 2035. He made this statement following his acquisition of a 29% stake in the Edinburgh club, aiming to challenge the long-standing dominance of Celtic and Rangers.
Hearts narrowly missed out on their first title since 1960 last season, having led the league for 250 days before a last-minute defeat to Celtic. Bloom acknowledged the disappointment of that outcome but remains optimistic about the club's future.
With a new head coach, Wouter Vrancken, and significant changes in the squad, Hearts are currently third in the league and have not lost at home for over a year. Bloom is hopeful for the upcoming season as the team prepares to face Celtic.
