Tony Boselli Joins NFL Competition Committee
Tony Boselli, the Executive Vice President of Football Operations for the Jacksonville Jaguars, has been appointed to the NFL's competition committee.
As a Hall of Fame offensive tackle, Boselli joins a group of 12 members responsible for reviewing various aspects of the league, including playing rules, roster regulations, game-day operations, and player safety. While the committee holds significant influence, any rule changes must be approved by a vote from the owners, and the committee's suggestions are not always adopted.
The committee is co-chaired by Rich McKay, former CEO of the Falcons, and Stephen Jones, CEO of the Cowboys. Other members include notable figures such as Katie Blackburn from the Bengals, John Mara of the Giants, and several head coaches from various teams.
