Tony Khan Discusses Potential AEW Appearance with Mike Tenay

AEW President Tony Khan has reportedly spoken with Mike Tenay, a former commentator for TNA, about a potential appearance in his wrestling promotion.

Mike Tenay, known as 'The Professor,' was a key voice for TNA during its first 12 years and has been retired from professional wrestling since 2016. Despite his retirement, he has received multiple offers from various wrestling companies, including a recent request to narrate episodes for the series Dark Side of the Ring.

Tenay's experience includes significant work with WCW and AAA in the early 1990s, making him a notable figure for events like Grand Slam: Mexico. He was the only WCW commentator present at the When Worlds Collide event in 1994, which led to WCW signing more luchadors.
