Tony Khan Participates in ALS Ice Bucket Challenge for Rebel
Tony Khan has participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge after being challenged by Sting, showing his support for Rebel, also known as Tanea Brooks.
The Jacksonville Jaguars, owned by the Khan family, released a video of Khan's challenge and highlighted AEW's Rebel Heart fundraiser. This fundraiser includes a special episode of Dynamite scheduled for September 9 in Athens, Georgia, where AEW will donate to I Am ALS and the Team Gleason Foundation.
Khan has also nominated Jaguars head coach Liam Coen and executives James Gladstone and Tony Boselli to take on the Ice Bucket Challenge. This initiative, which gained popularity in the 2010s, has resurfaced recently to raise awareness and funds for ALS research, with Rebel and NFL star Chris Johnson contributing to its revival.
Rebel, who is battling ALS, is committed to advocating for future generations despite knowing a cure may not come in time for her. She collaborates with I Am ALS, a patient-led advocacy group, and is expected to appear at the upcoming Dynamite episode.
