Tony Khan Would Have Allowed Adam Copeland to Wrestle John Cena in WWE
During John Cena's last year as a WWE Superstar, he faced numerous competitors, but Adam Copeland, known as Edge, was notably absent from this lineup. Copeland currently works for AEW, making a crossover appearance unlikely.
Despite the barriers between the two companies, Tony Khan, the president of AEW, indicated that he would have welcomed a collaboration if WWE had reached out. In an interview, Khan mentioned that neither he nor Copeland were ever approached about the possibility of Copeland participating in Cena's retirement run.
Khan expressed his willingness to discuss potential collaboration with WWE, emphasizing that he would not have opposed the idea if a plan had been presented. However, he reiterated that no formal request was made to either him or Copeland regarding this opportunity.
