Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and CBS broadcaster Tony Romo was arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI) in Wisconsin. During the incident, he initially showed reluctance to undergo breath testing.

Reports indicate that Romo's blood-alcohol concentration was recorded at 0.15 percent, which is nearly double the legal limit of 0.08 percent. This information emerged as part of his no-contest plea regarding the OWI charge.

As a result of the plea, Romo will incur fines totaling $834, have his driver's license suspended for six months, and must complete an alcohol assessment program. Additionally, he is required to install an ignition interlock device in his vehicle for at least one year following the reinstatement of his license. In a statement, Romo acknowledged his issues with alcohol and expressed his desire to return to CBS.
