Top Golf Stars Set to Compete at DP World India Championship

The second edition of the DP World India Championship is set to take place at the Delhi Golf Club, starting Thursday, featuring many of golf's top players.

With a prize purse of $4 million, the tournament has attracted three reigning Major champions, including Rory McIlroy, Aaron Rai, and Ryan Fox. Other notable participants include Justin Rose, Danny Willett, Patrick Reed, and Shane Lowry.

As the season approaches its end, the tournament is crucial for the Race to Dubai, with McIlroy, Reed, and Eugenio Chacarra in a tight competition. The Delhi Golf Club presents unique challenges with its narrow fairways and thick rough, requiring precision over power. Defending champion Tommy Fleetwood remarked on the increased difficulty due to thicker rough this year. Local players like Saptak Talwar and Shubhankar Sharma will also compete, promising an exciting event.
