
Top NFL Rookies Shine in Preseason Week 1
The first week of the 2026 NFL preseason has concluded, highlighting standout performances from several rookies. Kamari Ramsey, a fifth-round pick, achieved the highest grade among all rookies with a PFF score of 94.8, thanks to his strong coverage skills, which included an interception and a pass breakup.
Matthew Hibner, selected 133rd overall in the draft, was recognized as the top offensive rookie, catching five passes for 61 yards over 12 routes. Jacob Roberts, an undrafted free agent, excelled in run defense and coverage, earning a PFF grade of 75.8 and a coverage grade of 91.4, along with an interception.
Other notable performances included Ayden Garnes of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who returned an interception for a touchdown, and Christen Miller of the New Orleans Saints, who made a significant impact in his debut with three defensive stops.
