Toprak Razgatlioglu to Miss Remainder of MotoGP Season Due to Injury
Toprak Razgatlioglu, a Turkish MotoGP rider, will be sidelined for the remainder of the 2026 season due to a shoulder injury he sustained in a crash in Indonesia. His team, Pramac Yamaha, confirmed the news, marking a significant setback for both the rider and the team.
Razgatlioglu crashed during the second practice session at Mandalika, resulting in a dislocated right shoulder. Although he initially participated in qualifying, he had to retire from the race due to intense pain. Further medical evaluations revealed that the injury was more severe than first thought, leading to the decision for him to undergo surgery.
This injury prevents Razgatlioglu from competing in the upcoming Australian Grand Prix at Phillip Island, a track he has fond memories of from his Superbike career. Pramac Yamaha will now race with only one rider, Jack Miller, as they navigate the remainder of the season without their star competitor.
