Topuria's Manager Responds to Abdelaziz's Claims on UFC Lightweight Division

Malki Kawa, the manager of Ilia Topuria, has reacted to comments made by rival agent Ali Abdelaziz, who suggested that PFL fighter Usman Nurmagomedov would excel in the UFC lightweight division.

Kawa shared a video on social media following Abdelaziz's appearance on the Pound 4 Pound podcast, where he claimed Nurmagomedov would easily navigate the division, including former champion Justin Gaethje, who lost his title to Gaethje in June.

In his response, Kawa defended Topuria's position despite his recent loss at UFC White House, where he suffered a fourth-round stoppage. Topuria is currently recovering from facial injuries and has not yet announced a return to training or competition. Kawa expressed confidence in Topuria's ability to compete against top fighters, including Nurmagomedov and Gaethje.
