Topuria's Manager Responds to Abdelaziz's Comments on Nurmagomedov

Malki Kawa has reacted to Ali Abdelaziz's assertion that Usman Nurmagomedov would defeat Ilia Topuria in a potential fight. Abdelaziz's comments followed Nurmagomedov's recent victory over Archie Colgan at PFL New York, where he secured a first-round knockout and maintained his undefeated record of 22-0.

Kawa defended Topuria in a social media post, expressing confidence that his fighter could defeat all of Abdelaziz's clients, including Justin Gaethje, who previously handed Topuria his first loss. He emphasized that Topuria remains a top contender in the sport despite this setback.

Kawa also promised that Topuria would deliver a strong performance in his next fight, mentioning potential opponents like Paddy Pimblett, Islam Makhachev, Nurmagomedov, and Gaethje, all of whom he believes would not succeed against Topuria. As of now, Topuria has not announced his next fight following the loss to Gaethje earlier this year.
