Toronto FC achieved a 2-1 victory against the New England Revolution on Saturday, ending a winless streak that lasted over four months. This marked the team's first win since April 4th, when they defeated the Colorado Rapids.

Niklas Dorsch, a newly acquired midfielder, scored his first goal for Toronto FC just before halftime, giving his team a 2-0 lead. The first goal came from an own goal by Revolution defender Will Sands, following a cross from Theo Corbeanu.

Despite controlling 65 percent of possession and attempting 25 shots, the Revolution struggled to break through Toronto's defense. They managed to score only once, with Wilson Harris netting a header in the 90th minute. Toronto played the final minutes with ten men after Djordje Mihailovic received a red card.
