The team had made ambitious moves in the offseason, signing notable players such as Marina Mabrey and Brittney Sykes, but injuries have disrupted their plans.

Head coach Sandy Brondello noted the difficulties in evaluating the team at full strength due to these injuries. Mabrey has emerged as a standout player, showing potential for the Most Improved Player award, while the team continues to adapt to the challenges of their first season.
