Tory Horton Undergoes Surgery After Fractured Shin Ends Rookie Season

Seahawks receiver Tory Horton, selected in the fifth round of the 2025 draft, faced an early end to his rookie season due to a fractured shin.

Horton played through the injury for several weeks, feeling discomfort as early as Week Three. After a check-up in Week Nine revealed a crack, he underwent surgery to address the issue. His last game of the season was against the Commanders, where he recorded four receptions for 48 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-14 victory.

Following the surgery, Horton confirmed that a metal rod was inserted to stabilize his leg, allowing him to recover fully. His return is anticipated to enhance the Seahawks' passing game alongside teammates Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Cooper Kupp, and Rashid Shaheed.
