Tottenham Agrees £85 Million Fee for Savinho from Manchester City
Tottenham Hotspur is on the verge of signing winger Savinho from Manchester City for a fee that could reach £85 million.
The 22-year-old Brazilian has been with City for two years after transferring from Troyes for £31 million but struggled to secure a regular spot in the first team, making only seven Premier League starts last season. He accumulated 53 league appearances in total, scoring twice and providing nine assists.
Spurs have pursued Savinho for an extended period, and after a previous attempt fell through last summer, they have successfully negotiated a deal this time. The agreement includes £75 million upfront and an additional £10 million in performance-related add-ons, with £5 million considered easily achievable. This transfer could set a new record for City, surpassing the £82 million received from Atletico Madrid for Julian Alvarez in 2024.
