Tottenham Engages in Talks with Manchester City for Savinho and Marmoush
Tottenham Hotspur is currently in discussions with Manchester City regarding a potential double transfer for forwards Savinho and Omar Marmoush.
Negotiations are reportedly advancing, although no agreement has been finalized. Savinho, who joined City for £30 million from Troyes in 2024, made only seven Premier League starts last season and is considering leaving the club. Meanwhile, Marmoush, a £59 million acquisition from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2025, scored eight goals in 36 appearances but has fallen out of favor under Pep Guardiola.
While the exact valuation for both players remains unclear, Manchester City is expected to seek a significant profit on their investments. Tottenham's head coach, Roberto de Zerbi, has already made substantial midfield signings this summer but emphasizes the need to enhance the team's attack after a disappointing 17th-place finish in the Premier League last season.
