Tottenham Heads to Marbella for Team-Bonding Camp
Tottenham Hotspur will travel to Marbella, Spain, for a training camp focused on team bonding after their Premier League match against Manchester United.
Manager Roberto de Zerbi's team is currently at the bottom of the league table, having secured only two draws in five matches. The trip comes with a nine-day gap before their next home game against Coventry City, which De Zerbi hopes will help rejuvenate the squad.
Temperatures in Marbella are expected to reach 25 degrees Celsius, contrasting with rainy conditions in Enfield. Such early-season trips are uncommon, especially following an international break, as clubs typically seek warmer climates during winter. Tottenham has invested over £250 million in new players this summer, adding ten to their roster, but the busy schedule has limited their time to develop team chemistry.
