Tottenham Secures Loan Signing of Palhinha from Bayern Munich

Tottenham Hotspur has announced the loan signing of Portuguese defensive midfielder Palhinha from Bayern Munich for the 2025-26 season, marking their third new acquisition of the summer.

The loan deal includes a €30 million purchase option at the end of the season, and Tottenham will cover Palhinha's wages, estimated at around £165,000 per week. Previously, Palhinha had a successful stint as a ball-winning midfielder at Fulham before moving to Bayern Munich, where he struggled to fit into the team's tactics.

Palhinha, 30, is expected to strengthen Tottenham's midfield, providing defensive support. While there are concerns about the team's need for creativity in midfield, the club hopes that Palhinha will contribute positively during his time at Tottenham.
