Tottenham Secures Savinho from Manchester City for £75m
Tottenham Hotspur has reached an agreement with Manchester City to sign winger Savinho for a fee of £75 million, along with an additional £10 million in potential add-ons.
The 22-year-old Brazilian, who joined Manchester City from Troyes in 2024, will undergo a medical examination before finalizing a long-term contract with Spurs. This transfer has been in the works for over a year, as Tottenham previously attempted to secure his services last summer.
Despite limited playing time under Pep Guardiola last season, where he made only seven Premier League starts, Savinho's move is part of Tottenham's strategy to enhance their attacking options. The club has already spent £185 million on midfielders and is reportedly in talks for further signings, including Omar Marmoush from City and potentially Cody Gakpo from Liverpool. Tottenham's summer spending is expected to exceed £300 million, although they have recouped around £140 million from player sales.
