Tottenham Signs Savio from Manchester City for £85 Million

Tottenham Hotspur has officially announced the acquisition of winger Savio from Manchester City in a deal valued at £85 million. The transfer includes an initial payment of £75 million, with an additional £10 million available through performance-related add-ons.

Savio, who previously went by Savinho, is the latest addition to Spurs' roster, contributing to their summer spending that has now exceeded £300 million. This follows the signings of several players, including Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes.

This transfer sets a new club record for Manchester City, surpassing the previous record of £82 million from Julian Alvarez's move to Atletico Madrid. Savio will wear the No 17 shirt at Tottenham, and the club's manager expressed enthusiasm about his potential impact on the team.
