Tottenham Signs Winger Savio from Manchester City for £85 Million

Tottenham Hotspur has confirmed the acquisition of winger Savio from Manchester City in a deal worth £85 million. The transfer includes an initial payment of £75 million, with an additional £10 million available through performance-related add-ons.

Savio, who previously went by the name Savinho, is the latest addition to Spurs' roster, contributing to their summer spending that has now exceeded £300 million. This signing follows the arrivals of several players, including Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes.

The transfer sets a new club record for Manchester City, surpassing the previous record held by Julian Alvarez's £82 million transfer to Atletico Madrid. Savio will wear the No 17 shirt at Tottenham.
