Tour de France Femmes Stage 2 Preview: A Challenge for Sprinters
Stage 2 of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift will take place over a distance of 147.9 kilometers from Aigle to Geneva. Although the stage is designed for sprinters, they will need to work hard to secure their positions.
The route includes five categorized climbs, with the Côte de Savigny being the most significant challenge at 2.5 kilometers with a 5% gradient. Following this, riders will face shorter climbs, including the Côte de Bougy-Villars, which is 900 meters long and has a steep gradient of 10.4% in the final 50 kilometers.
While the terrain may encourage breakaway attempts, the profile of the course becomes less challenging as it nears Geneva. The question remains whether any competitors can challenge the current leader, Wiebes.
