Trackhouse Renews Raul Fernandez's Contract for MotoGP 2027-28

Trackhouse has officially renewed Raul Fernandez's contract for the 2027 and 2028 MotoGP seasons, marking the team's first signing for the new 850cc era.

The agreement comes after lengthy negotiations that lasted nearly six months, primarily due to differing views on the contract length. Fernandez sought a two-season deal, while Trackhouse preferred a more flexible arrangement.

Fernandez, who joined MotoGP in 2022 after an impressive Moto2 season, has shown significant growth as a rider. He achieved his first MotoGP victory at the Australian Grand Prix last year and has already secured three podium finishes this season. In 2027, he is expected to team up with Enea Bastianini, who is also joining Trackhouse after leaving Tech3-KTM.
