Transfer News: Manchester United Eyes Simeone, Chelsea Pursues Scott

Manchester United is reportedly interested in Giuliano Simeone, a 23-year-old forward from Atletico Madrid, as they prepare to face the team in the Champions League.

Chelsea is willing to pay at least £50 million to acquire Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona, while also looking to secure Alex Scott from Bournemouth, although the latter club hopes he will sign a new contract.

Additionally, several Premier League teams are targeting Aleksandar Stankovic, a 21-year-old midfielder from Inter Milan. Meanwhile, Werder Bremen has no option to permanently sign Niclas Fullkrug from West Ham, and Thibaut Courtois is nearing a contract extension with Real Madrid until 2028.

Brighton has set its sights on Bartosz Mazurek, a 19-year-old midfielder from Red Bull Salzburg, as a key target for the January transfer window.
