TRAU FC Defeats Indian Navy 2-1 in Durand Cup Match

TRAU FC achieved a 2-1 victory against Indian Navy in their last Group D match of the Durand Cup at the Khuman Lampak Stadium in Imphal on August 9, 2026.

Afridi Buyamayum was instrumental for TRAU, scoring both goals in the 16th and 60th minutes. Despite Navy's aggressive play, which included 26 attempts on goal, TRAU's goalkeeper Tajuddin made crucial saves to maintain the lead.

Indian Navy equalized shortly after halftime with a goal from Khullakpam Zahir Khan. However, TRAU's counter-attack led to Buyamayum's second goal, securing the win.
