Trent Williams Faces Lawsuit Over Unpaid Porsche Lease
Trent Williams, a tackle for the San Francisco 49ers, is facing a lawsuit from OpenRoad Auto Group regarding a 2021 Porsche 911 lease. The company alleges that Williams failed to make payments after initially paying $10,617.26 for the first two installments.
According to the lawsuit, Williams signed a four-year lease in August 2021 but closed his bank account before making the remaining payments. The lease expired last August, and OpenRoad claims it does not know the current location of the vehicle, suggesting it may have been sold without a valid title.
OpenRoad is suing Williams for breach of contract, fraud, and other legal claims, seeking a total of $244,199.28, which includes additional charges, attorney fees, and litigation costs.
