TreVeyon Henderson Suffers High-Ankle Sprain, Expected to Miss Weeks
New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson is sidelined once again after suffering a high-ankle sprain during the team's Week 5 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
Reports indicate that Henderson is expected to miss multiple weeks but has avoided surgery, which could allow for an earlier return. He previously dealt with a Grade 1 ankle sprain during training camp that caused him to miss the season opener against the Seattle Seahawks.
Henderson's performance this season has been affected by injuries, as he has rushed for 163 yards and one touchdown over four games. With Henderson out, veteran Rhamondre Stevenson is anticipated to take on a larger role, while rookie Corey Kiner, who performed well against the Raiders, is expected to serve as the primary change-of-pace back.
