Trevon Diggs Faces Uncertain Future After Tryout with Lions

Trevon Diggs, a two-time Pro Bowl cornerback, is facing a challenging moment in his NFL career as he enters what would be his seventh season in 2026. Currently a free agent, Diggs recently tried out for the Detroit Lions, who are in need of depth at the cornerback position following the unexpected loss of rookie Terrion Arnold due to legal issues.

Diggs, 27, previously enjoyed a successful stint with the Dallas Cowboys, highlighted by leading the NFL with 11 interceptions in 2021 and earning a first-team All-Pro selection. However, his career took a downturn after he suffered an ACL injury in 2023, which sidelined him for the entire season.
