Trevon Diggs Signs One-Year Deal with Seattle Seahawks
Trevon Diggs, a two-time Pro-Bowl cornerback, has agreed to a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks, according to a report from ESPN on Wednesday.
The financial details of the contract were not disclosed. Diggs had a tryout with the Seahawks the previous day. In addition to Diggs, Seattle is also set to sign former Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold, who is expected to be placed on the Commissioner's Exempt List.
Diggs, who will turn 28 next month, played for the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers last season. He had a standout year in 2021, leading the league with 11 interceptions and earning Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors. However, injuries have limited his playtime, as he has participated in only 22 games over the last three seasons. He was released by the Cowboys after missing a flight home following a game, with the team's head coach citing multiple reasons for his waiver.
