Trevor Story's Walk-Off Single Leads Red Sox to Victory Over Mariners

BOSTON — In a dramatic finish, Trevor Story delivered a bases-loaded single in the 10th inning, leading the Boston Red Sox to a 9-8 comeback victory against the Seattle Mariners on Monday night.

The Red Sox had previously struggled, losing three of four games to the Yankees over the weekend. Jarren Duran contributed with a two-run homer, while Mickey Gasper added a solo shot. For the Mariners, Randy Arozarena stood out with four hits, including a homer, driving in four runs and scoring three times.

In the ninth inning, Boston managed to tie the game against Andrés Muñoz, with Roman Anthony scoring after a leadoff triple. Arozarena's two-run single in the sixth had previously tied the game at 5-5 before Dominic Canzone's two-run double gave Seattle the lead. The Mariners' starting pitcher Bryan Woo is scheduled to pitch in the next game of the series.
