Williams noted that he was overwhelmed by the moment, stating that it was all about him as he stepped into the ring. He experienced such excitement that he stayed awake for 48 hours afterward, realizing that wrestling was his true calling.

Before joining WWE in February 2021, Williams had a background in college football and trained with various wrestling promotions. He made his debut in NXT in September 2021 and has since achieved significant success, including winning the United States Championship at WrestleMania 42.
