Triple H Honors Motorhead's 50th Anniversary
WWE COO Paul 'Triple H' Levesque marked the 50th anniversary of Motorhead with an Instagram tribute, honoring his late friend Ian 'Lemmy' Kilmister, the band's iconic front man.
On Wednesday, he shared a photo featuring new Motorhead anniversary merchandise, captioning it with a nod to the band's legacy. Motorhead has been integral to Levesque's wrestling persona, having performed several of his entrance themes, including 'The Game' and 'King of Kings,' at major events like WrestleMania.
Levesque and Lemmy shared a close friendship, which continued until Lemmy's death in December 2015. Levesque spoke at Lemmy's memorial service, recalling the band's performances at WrestleMania as memorable highlights. In 2016, he received the 'Spirit of Lemmy' award, recognizing his contributions to heavy metal culture.
