Tristan McKee Signs Part-Time Deal with JR Motorsports for 2027

Tristan McKee, a 16-year-old development driver from Spire Motorsports, has secured a part-time racing deal with JR Motorsports for the 2027 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series season.

McKee will drive the No. 9 Chevrolet and is set to make his debut at Bristol Motor Speedway on August 13, 2027. He will also continue to compete part-time in the NASCAR Truck Series next year, driving the No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado.

JR Motorsports CEO Kelley Earnhardt-Miller expressed enthusiasm about McKee joining the team, highlighting the organization's commitment to nurturing young talent. McKee previously won the 2026 ARCA Menards East Series title and made a strong start in the Truck Series, finishing in the top ten in his first three races.
