Triston Casas Undergoes Wrist Surgery

Triston Casas, the first baseman for the Boston Red Sox, is in recovery following arthroscopic surgery on his left wrist, which took place on Thursday.

The surgery was conducted by Dr. Matthew Leibman at the Newton-Wellesley Surgery Center in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Casas, who is 26 years old, began the season on the injured list due to a ruptured patellar tendon and has faced additional injuries, including an abdominal issue during spring training and wrist inflammation.

Currently, Casas is on the 60-day injured list, and the team has not disclosed a timeline for his return. Over his four seasons with the Red Sox, he has recorded a batting average of .241, hitting 45 home runs and driving in 120 runs across 251 games since being drafted 26th overall in 2018.
