Tropical Storm Marie Brings Surf to Newport Beach

Tropical Storm Marie impacted Southern California over the holiday weekend, delivering notable swell and favorable conditions at Newport Beach. Although downgraded from a hurricane, the storm lit up the area's surf spots, reminiscent of the famous swells from Hurricane Marie in August 2014.
