Tua Tagovailoa's Preseason Debut with Falcons Against Broncos
Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa made his preseason debut with the Atlanta Falcons on Friday night in a game against the Denver Broncos.
During his two drives, the Falcons were unable to score, resulting in two punts. The first drive ended with a three-and-out, gaining only four yards, while the second drive advanced from their own 15 to the 32-yard line before punting again.
Tagovailoa completed three of five passes for 22 yards, achieving a passer rating of 70.4. He also experienced a fumble on a shotgun snap. Currently, he is the first-string quarterback for the Falcons, while teammate Michael Penix Jr. is recovering from a torn ACL and has not yet been cleared for team activities. The Falcons are set to begin their regular season on September 13 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
