Twins Acquire Dean Kremer from Orioles
The Minnesota Twins have secured back-end starter Dean Kremer from the Baltimore Orioles, marking their second addition to the pitching staff in as many days.
In exchange for Kremer, minor league outfielder Jhomnardo Reyes will head to Baltimore. This move follows the Twins' acquisition of A.J. Minter from the Mets, aimed at bolstering their rotation.
Kremer is expected to provide stability to a rotation that has faced challenges, particularly with inexperienced pitchers. The Twins currently have Joe Ryan and Taj Bradley at the top of their rotation, while Bailey Ober is anticipated to deliver average production. The final two spots in the rotation remain uncertain, with Zebby Matthews struggling with home runs and Connor Prielipp recently returning from an injury.
